Josh: Okay, so I changed my mind. I'm going to stay. I'm going to be working a little more behind the scenes than actually modding and such, so yeah. I cant stay away from Senko in Senko's time of need.
Josh: Okay, so I'm taking a break from Senko. I dont know how long, I just am. It's way too much emotional stress right now, and it makes it worse when people wont do a simple request for me. I've taken myself down from the staff list, as I dont need PMs coming to me about modding for people or anything while I am away. I'm sorry, I just cant handle it right now. If you guys decide to try and keep it alive while I'm gone, that'd be great. If you let it die, I'll probably come back to attempt to revive again. Anyways, talk to you all again when I feel like coming back.

November 1st
Josh: It's a new month, and now that we have a full staff once again, I think we should go out and advertise to get some new members! I will soon be putting up an advertising reward thread so you all have something to work for! I will also be modding the pokemon that needs to appear for everyone for their rewards, so look forward to that! :D

October 31st
Amy: Happy Halloween!~ Just wanted to remind everyone that the colouring contest finishes on Monday~ Prizes will be awarded by Thursday/Friday at the very latest, and I'll try and get something else set up soon after that. c:

 Legendary Claims
« Thread Started on Oct 10, 2009, 12:26am »

This is where you apply to get a Legendary pokemon for your character.

Rules
  • 2 legendary pokemon per user, and they cannot go to the same character. (This includes trading them over. A character cannot have more than one legendary pokemon)
  • There is a limit of 2 of each legendary (1 normal, 1 shiny), with the following exceptions: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Heatran, Shaymin. (You still have to apply for these, and they count as a character's only legendary)
  • Rotom and Phione are not counted as legendary pokemon, so claims can't be made for them.
  • Arceus, Mew, and Celebi are off-limits. Forever.

To apply for a legendary, you need to fill out the following form:
Character Name:
Legendary wanted:
RP Sample:
[Required. Your other IC posts are considered as well as this when the admin accepts/denies the claim~]

Once you post in this thread, an admin will edit your post with either ACCEPTED or DENIED at the top. If you're denied, you have 3 days to edit your post before it is deleted. If you are accepted (yay!) you add the Legendary to your team, at level 10.

Edit By Josh: I added Mew and Celebi to the off-limits list. Mew because of the fact of it's popularity and ability to learn any TM/HM move. Celebi because it is a pokemon that gets involved with plots if I need it to be. Sorry to those of you who want one.

Edit By ARI: If your legendary is used in a plot (such as Darkrai in the Haunt of Senko) then just pretend that it is a different legendary of the same species. >_>

Character Name: Catori Onatah
Legendary wanted: Latias. <3
RP Sample: [from a digimon site]
Yue kept the same polite smile as Patrica spoke to her, all the time wondering to herself how this girl could find it so amazingly easy to speak to someone she'd only just met. And Yue found herself wishing she could do the same once in a while, too.
Well. This seemed like a good place to start trying, right? "I lived in New York for a little while." she smiled. "And, uh... England, Spain, France... and New Zealand, too, briefly." she added, counting off the places on her fingers as she spoke, without realising what she was doing. Smiling uneasily and laughing a little, she continued, "We moved around a lot because of my parent's work." That seemed, to her, a good enough explanation for all the places she'd been.

As Raramon spoke to them, Yue's eyes turned to the small, plant-like Digimon, and so did Lunamon's. Perhaps surprisingly, it was the former who answered Raramon's question to them both.
"It's been about a year for us." she stated slowly, thinking about it carefully and nodding. "Right, Luna?" Yue asked her partner. 'Luna' was what Yue often referred to her Digimon as, even when she was at a different level. It was just easier that way, and Lunamon seemed perfectly fine with it.

Right now, however, she was slightly shocked. Yue was actually making decent conversation with this girl, even though Patricia was the one asking questions. It was still a step in the right direction for the usually anti-social human. The rabbit Digimon smiled, a hint of pride in the expression as she glanced up to Yue and nodded. "Yeah, that sounds right." Lunamon answered, realising how quickly a year could pass by. Even if it had sent your life spiralling in a whole new direction.

Yue had started to fidget a little, feeling uncomfortable. So much for making an effort to be more confident. she thought to herself, letting out a small sigh. Clearly, she just wasn't cut out for this. What people said about old dogs not learning new tricks was apparently true, at least in her case.

Lunamon was picking up on the girl's feelings. "Sorry, Yue's not great with meeting people and the like." she explained to Raramon and Patricia with a small smile, placing a reassuring hand on Yue and smiling like she was the most innocent thing in the Digital World.

Yue blinked, and turned to look at her friend, eyes narrowed. "Lunamon..." she hissed. Well. That was ever-so-slightly embarassing. Right now, Yue felt like she ought to dig herself a nice, large hole. Although, she kind of guessed that the other two had already picked up on what Lunamon had brought up. It was just the fact that Luna had actually said it that made her cheeks flush the same red as the ribbon in her hair.

Character Name: Ophelia Kincaide
Legendary wanted: Shiny Cresselia
RP Sample: ohdang. D: Uhm ... this is from a site I'm on called LOVE KILLS ( GO LOOK AT THE ADVERTISEMENTS, PEOPLE! ). And ... yeah. >_>
"School~!" the girl sang. Oh, how she loved school. It was a new year, and she could make friends, learn new things, get more resources ... the possibilities were endless. And it was a new school, too! Which meant more new people, more new friends, more new resources ... the possibilities were absolutely, positively infinite. Not to mention that the prestigious, rich school she was going to was the beginning of her surely prosperous high school career. She should have been entering her last year of middle school at the moment, as Talia was only fourteen, but she had decided to skip a grade. Why, you ask? In actuality, it was only because her absolute, trust-you-with-my-life-and-secrets, best effing friend forever was a year older than she was. And if she stayed a year behind, then her BFFF would have gone to high school without her. She adamantly refused to be left behind when said best friend was going off to a boarding school; so she skipped a grade. Simple, right? Of course!

Talia hummed some random tune as she skipped along the route to the school. Yes, she had walked all the way from her apartment on the other side of the city ( she lives alone ), and it took quite a while, but it was all okay. She needed the exercises. It was hard work for a girl to keep herself skinny and her chest prominent when you're, at the same time, still growing and eating normally. No diets for Talia Scarlett. Absolutely not. She'd never be able to stick to a strict eating regime. Also, Talia noted, high school will be harder than middle school. The girl sighed sadly. That meant no more talking on the phone until midnight. And absolutely no more staying on the computer, chatting and ... stuff, from dusk to dawn. And she would actually have to do her homework! Talia giggled. "But making friends is worth it!" she argued with herself. "And I get to see Satoshi-sama!" Not many people glanced sideways at her. The cute ones were also usually the innocent, airheaded type, was probably what was going through the people's minds -- at least, that's what Talia assumed.

"But ... school doesn't start 'till tomorrow ..." she muttered, thinking. "So if I can ... yeah. Then I'll ... and after that ... until bed time ..." Talia clapped her hands together, rather proud of herself. "YES! I'm a genius!" She spun in circles, her ink-black hair bouncing around wildly. Talia playfully tugged at one of her curls. I'm so smart! she thought to herself, smiling in extreme happiness. So she would hopefully meet up with Satoshi-sama, get her room, and then find out where the library was. And if not the library, then the computer lab. After all of that exploring ... Talia grinned. Rich people had rich resources. Resources she needed -- like information. And, in her profession, information was invaluable. How'd you think she got the money to pay for the tuition and boarding at the most expensive school in Shinjuku? Work hard? Oh, no. Other people had all the info she needed ... bank account numbers, credit card numbers ... you name it. Almost everything could be found if it was ever saved or used in a computer. Of course, of the person you're trying to get stuff from happened to be an analog person, then, well, that was there Talia's precious Satoshi-sama came in.

Ghost and Phantom -- one of the most feared duos in the higher-class circles. As a Thief and Hacker, there was next-to-nothing they couldn't obtain. Nobody but each other knew who those elusive specters were. For years they worked together, so the bond they had was more than a working relationship -- it was a friendship. Talia sighed as she remembered a fact that had been sent in the mail. Her dorm was a single, thank goodness, but she couldn't share with her best friend. To add insult onto injury, the male and female dorms were quite far apart! The girl pouted. That would limit ( though not by much, true ) the amount of time she could spend with him, and would require more work to be able to sneak out at night. Unlike the Ghost, she wasn't particularly sneaky while walking, so she would have to be extra careful.

Once she had entered through the main gate, Talia scanned the area for any sign of her partner. She spotted him nearly immediately. "Blue hair, eyepatch ... bingo!" she said happily. Target ... LOCK! At an insane speed, Talia sprinted to the other teen, an ecstatic smile on her face. "Satoshi-samaaaaa!" she called, coming to a screeching halt beside him and nearly crashing into the tree. "I haven't seen you in forever!" she cried, accidentally keeping up her 'nice girl' facade. Then she smirked, nearly forgetting to whom she was talking to. "I mean, I've missed you, Satoshi." She put her arm around his shoulders, making sure that nobody was close enough to overhear their conversation. "Seriously, though. It's been so fucking boring without you around. There's no more good security out there!" Talia sighed. Hopefully her boredom would go away with the oncoming school year.

[A]ccepted By Josh

Character Name: Reese Black
Legendary wanted: Mewtwo
RP Sample: (from another site)

Picking himself off the ground, Atticus did his best to shake off the sludge. It didn't work so well. Once luxurious tawny coat was now completely covered in a thin film of grease. Eevee was in a rage - eyes burning like embers, he tried to catch Golbat off guard with a surprise Return.

"Air Slash." A crisp voice called from behind Syl. Figure cloaked in shadows, it was hard to make out a face.

Winds traveling at the speed of sound rushed passed Syl and Atticus. One of them cut so close it tore the sleeve off of his coat, slicing it cleanly in half.

Golbat never stood a chance. It tried to avoid the attack, but at such a low level it was nearly impossible. With a strangled cry, it was KO'd instantly.

Alighting on the ground beside Atticus, a powerful Shiny Charizard roared, eyes proud and vengeful.

"Trainer." Naru tapped Syl on the shoulder, "I assume you're not with Team Plasma, which is why the grunt attacked you. You should really be more careful."

Her Charizard, Kyu, roared in agreement.

"I didn't want your help," Syl snapped, whirling around to face the Gym Leader. "Who the hell are you, anyway. Why are you even here?"

In a rage, he recalled Atticus. Golden eyes scanned the girl from head to toe quickly, taking in her features. Red hair. Slutty dress. Ugly shoes. God, she was like the transvestite version of him. "I would have handled that situation just fine. And as for your question, no, I'm not with Team Plasma. But I'm no part of The Resistance, either. The Resistance preaches good and peace and harmony, but it's unrealistic. What good can come of the constant fighting?" He snarled, withdrawing a cigarette from his pocket and lighting it.

It was the only thing that could have calmed him down.

Naru frowned, permanent wrinkles etched into delicate features by scum bags just like Syl. "We're trying to free Anrui from Team Plasma's control!" It was a struggle to keep her voice steady when Syl was so nonchalantly deeming her life's work useless. "It's people like you, people without a cause, that are ruining this country. The Resistance needs all the members it can get. You don't look like a weak trainer, so pick a side already!" Her shrill voice echoed off the cavern walls.

Kyu's nostrils flared, smoke spirals mixing with the noxious cigarette.

"You want to come a little closer and say that, little lady?" Syl did his best to sound menacing, but it ended up sounding like a sexual advance. Taking the cigarette between his lips, he reached into the black and red bag resting at his hip and withdrew a pokeball. "Jin may not have evolved, but I'm sure he can take you on."

He tossed it, and in a flash the Shadow Charmeleon faced his Shiny future. He stared down Kyu with hatred in his eyes.

"Let's not waste time, Smokescreen and Thunderpunch, go go go!" Red head ordered, taking a drag of his cigarette. Ahhh, soothing.

Jin did as he was told. In a split second the cavern was filled with obscuring smoke, so thick that not even Syl could see what was happening. He heard a crack, and assumed Jin's Thunderpunch had hit it's intended target.

She scoffed. "The smoke of a glorified campfire and a little fist? I was wrong, you're pathetic. Hit me again, if you want. Hit me with everything you've got. Kyu and I will wait."

One arm was folded across her body, grasping the wrist of the other arm. Her face had gone from angry to bored in 0.5 seconds.

Her words meant nothing to him. Syl was familiar with empty taunts, and brushed them off. "Thunderpunch! Outrage! Go!"

Jin paused. He wasn't sure which attack to use, so he flipped a coin in his head. Outrage it was. Nostrils flared, smoke finally starting to clear, he caught sight of the great Shining Charizard and rushed for him.

Kyu stood firm as Jin raked his sharp claws across his belly. Black Charizard hardly batted an eyelash, and only yawned instead of crying out in pain.

"Kyu, show them the real power of the Charmander family. Shadow Claw" Naru hissed. Her eyes locked on Syl, trying to get a read on the man. He appeared not to be motivated by Team Plasma, but he wasn't interested in taking them down, either. One thing was for sure, she knew it wouldn't be the last time they crossed paths.

Lifting into the air, Kyu flapped his mighty wings. As he moved through the light, his scales shimmered a slight violet, with traces of teal and even red. It was a sight to behold. He circled Jin, letting out a snicker as he noticed the Charmeleon was too short to reach him.

All at once, he swooped, claws infused with the power of dead ancestors. Shadow Claw was a terrifying move to learn, and devastated Jin.

Jin never stood a chance. He flew backwards, bleeding from the chest. Large claw marks criss-crossed his chest and belly, blood seeping from the wounds at an alarming rate.

Syl said nothing. Recalling the Charmeleon, he turned his attention to Naru. "Are you happy now? You humiliated me in front of my Eevee and that pathetic grunt, and now Jin is critically injured..."

There was no pokemon center to retreat to with his tail between his legs, so Syl would have to make due with the revive he had found on the ground in Hyo City. Gaze shifted to the bag at his hip, wondering if Jin would be okay to fight again soon.

"And another thi-" Syl blinked. Naru was gone. How the hell had she vanished so quickly? "Damn. She's gooooood."

Character Name: Ami Suzuki
Legendary wanted: Jirachi ~♥
RP Sample: (from another Pokemon RP; It's not as good because I was RPing with a friend. -_-)

Anya watched as Myra started to question who they were. "It's me, Anya. Don't you remember? You came to my house, got trapped in Skylar's body, had a pillow fight, burned a cake.... Any of this ringing a bell?" She scratched her head, wondering why she didn't remember them. After Myra had climbed out of the window chasing after her mother's ribbon, she started to chase after her. "Myra! Come back! It's raining outside! We can get your ribbon back after the rain stops!" She proceeded to climb out of the window. Viola saw her actions and hurriedly ran to the room. He took a rope from the closet and threw it to her. "Be careful! Something doesn't seem right... Myra's sudden actions are peculiar. It almost seems as though she's repeating the time when her parents were taken. I'm not sure how it's happening, but you need to get her before she gets hurt." She nodded. After tying a knot in the rope, she threw it onto the roof, pulling it to make sure it was secure. She then began to scale the house.

Inside with Ilyana and Viola, Fiore was pacing in a circle. Despite all of the mean things she had said to her trainer, she was actually very worried. "I hope Double-A knows what she's doing, climbing up this death trap she calls a house. I'm worried about Myra too. Getting caught up in the past and reenacting that incident when her parents taken by Team Aqua.. it's all too strange. You know what? I'm going with her. This could get dangerous, and if something happened to her, I'd never forgive myself." Viola and Ilyana looked at her, both with smiles appearing on their faces. "That's supposed to be my line. I guess Anya's started to grow on you a bit. She loves Pokemon so much, she can't stand to see ones with no love. Your aura seemed to call out to her, and that's why she chose you." Fiore seemed to smile for the first time in a long while. Viola nodded opening the door to let Fiore go to the window. He then looked out of the window in the bedroom and stopped. In the bushes, he saw what seemed to be a shadow, staring at Myra and Anya climb the mansion. His eyes grew wide as he rushed to the living room, before the girls were too high to hear him.

Fiore had made it to the rope just in time to catch up with Anya. She looked down to see that her Cleffa had followed her. "Fiore! Go back inside! It's too dangerous out here right now!" "I'm here to make sure you don't get hurt! I can be insensitive sometimes, but you're still my trainer!" Anya smiled. " 'Lesson 4: Look Out for Others' complete." They both smiled at each other and continued to climb up to Myra and her mother's ribbon. It was then that Viola rushed to the window, panting with his eyes wide. "Annie! Watch your back! I think you three are being watched..."

Character name;
Courtney Hoover.

Legendary wanted;
Shiny Shaymin.

RP Sample;

[image] [image] [image]

She was weak.

Courtney had been wandering for quite a bit now; she guessed that pokemon didn't really come out this late at night. Well, really, she didn't blame them. She wouldn't waste her precious sleeping hours unless it was something extremely important, and this obviously was. She was weak; her body had been weakened by the lack of food, and she felt tired and groggy all the time. Her arm was healing up, but it kept getting infected. She wondered when the effect of Amity's memory would finally leave her; they had all gotten over it. The four of them had a good relationship again; Liz, Regan, Kelsey, and her. Hell, Regan and her were even in love. That had to count for something, right?

Smiling as the warm, tingly feelings errupted in her heart, making her want to scream in excitement, she soon shook these away with a small grin on her face, and a chuckle. The curious 'vee' that soon entered her ears was a reminder that she still actually had Mozart out, and the little shiny Eevee was happily walking next to her, yet still somewhat alert. It was hard to be alert when you were tired out of your mind. Courtney smiled, and scooped the Eevee up; the night was chilly, like winter, and Mozart's warm fleshand fur against her skin felt great. The Eevee snuggled in close, giving a small yawn, with a whimper in between it. "Hey, now. Don't get too sleepy on me. We need to buff you up." She placed the Eevee on her head, the little pokemon's favorite spot, and continued to gently walk through the tall grass that belonged to Millenia Plains.

The night was cold, however, the silence was very comforting. The whole scene around the two was dark; the trees casted shadows darker than midnight itself, and even then, the night sky blanketed the earth, causing an eerie darkness over the plains. Courtney was freezing, just like the night where Regan and her had danced together on the S.S. Kaito. Well... maybe not as cold as that night had been, but it was still enough to make the girl daydream she was in a nice, warm bed, with layered covers next to a fireplace, and-

Chittachittasssshhhh....

W-what was that?! Courtney's eyes widened, as her heart began to pound in her chest in fear. Could it be Kona? No... no. He had already failed at getting Kelsey. There was no way he was coming back, and if he did, Courtney would rip him to shreds this time. She was sure of it. However, she still held fear, and remained still, like a bunny rabbit. Still. Paralyzed with fear. And most impotantly, unnoticiable. Then, as another rustle came out, she was bunny rabbit Courtney again, racing through the plains as fast as her long legs could possibly carry her. Mozart squealed and grasped her trainer's head as tightly as she could. The girl reaached up to grab her little Eevee, but soon enough, she tripped, losing her balance since her arms were above her head while she had been rnning so hard.

Down came Courtney, Eevee and all.

Mozart hit the ground first; she bounced a bit, before landing on her side. Courtney landed on her palms, but luckily, they didn't burn like they did if she had landed on concrete. Instantly flinging out an arm and grasping Mozart carefully, she pulled the pokemon close to her chest and waited, breathing heavily.

Maybe leaving the group at night to train and returning by morning wasn't such a good idea...

Word Count; 619.

Character's name: Tori

Roleplay sample: (from a wolf roleplay site)

Lone Terra was a vast, virtually uninhabited place. It had little in the way of protection or hiding material, save for the odd tree scattered about. Had the circumstances been even just a little more in his favour, Kalina would have avoided this sort of area at all costs - his silver-grey pelt had made him the object of more than one hunter's desires. He supposed that there was at least one thing to be grateful for about this place - snow covered the ground, turning the landscape stark-white. In the snow, he may as well not have existed, if it had not been for his shadow. The sun still rose, as bright as ever, and so his shadow cast itself as it had always done, and would no doubt do until he died.

The silvery brute watched with sapphire gaze as his paws left identical imprints on the thin layer of snow, only for the marks to be swept away again by the falling flakes that clung to his pale hide. The snow would melt with the warmth radiating from beneath his pelt, leaving tiny droplets of water that would call to the sun and be swept up in a golden glow, spangling the wolf's entire being in light.
Auds remained pricked, and oculi darted at regular intervals, listening and watching for a hint of a pack - that was why he was here. To find a pack. As Man began to find ways of traversing the places that the wolven had once found safe, so the wolves were being pushed further and further away from their homes and closer and closer together. Wolves weren't meant to live together, but as loners. Man had disturbed much. And maybe it was the promise of power that called to him. Or perhaps the security that only a pack could offer .. Kalina had lived most of his life alone, but now began to seek the safety of a pack, and perhaps somewhere he could call home, and someone he could call... family.

With a smirk, the he-wolf remembered fondly his first few weeks alone; over three years ago, now. He had never hunted much as a yearling, so had taken it upon himself to teach himself how to get things done. He had stumbled upon a herd of elk, and decided that he would give this a try. Without even bothering to prepare, he had rushed in and bit down on the ankle of the largest deer there. Shocked, but not afraid of the small pup, the elk had bolted, and Kalina had found himself running for his life. Not that he'd really minded, Kalina had thought upon looking back on the moment. The feeling of leaping into the wind and letting it carry him and whisper through his fur was unmatchable, in his opinion. Really racing, speeding, weaving through the undergrowth got his adrenaline pumping and his heart beating - it was this feeling that he loved more than any other, even more than the satisfaction felt as fangs pierced through the hide of prey, the feeling of fresh, warm blood seeping down his throat, and the welcome sensation of having your stomach full after days, weeks even, of starvation.

That had been a one-off. Now, Kalina was a powerful hunter, who had learned through experience. He had learned to enjoy the kill and the reward, as well as the thrill of the chase. While he enjoyed running for his life, the ever-present fear of capture held him back. He had become an apprehensive wolf, and being in such an open space as this empty territory was doing nothing to help it. However, it was a risk that had to be taken. Over the barren landscaping, the wind whistled, whispering the wolf's name as he crossed the snow. "Kalina ... Kalina ..."
Taking shelter under a large, leafless oak, Kalina threw back his head and let fly from his snowy maw his song. Beautiful and harmonious, the notes rose and fell, occasionally holding fast and echoing through the cool, afternoon air. The song told of sorrow and fear, of anger and rage, but woven within the music was a tale of hope - a spark of longing and need, still burning as an ember within the heart of a wolf.

Character Name: Ally Yates
Legendary wanted: Raikou
RP Sample: ((Taken from Mysste. It's an audition for adopting a Gastly.))

<So there I was. Surrounded by this thick, black smoke that just, like, completely consumed the area. And then there was that trainer's fat Pokemon rushing towards me. And I mean, I was exhausted, right? But I stood firm.>

Emyr's vivid blue eyes were wide, even for an Aron, as Ria continued on with her epic tale. He assumed it had been about a Snorlax, and that was unbelievably impressive to the little steel type. It had actually been a Munchlax battling the Magby, but the live coal had purposely left that little detail out. Munchlax... Snorlax... Not too big of a difference, right?, she rationalized, though it wasn't hard for her to get rid of that feeling of guilt. Guilt meant very little to her.

<So, anyway. I sent out this Ember attack. And he just kept on flying right at me, with that Tackle attack. I mean, I'm in shape, you know - I'm thin. Trim. And this brute was anything but. I mean, I could have been swallowed whole by his stomach and, like, suffocated right there!>

Ria stopped for dramatic effect. The Aron nodded with rapt attention, practically begging Ria to go on with her tale of valor. Finally, the live coal "caved" and continued.

<But I stayed where I was.>

<Wow-ow. How were you that brave, Ria?>

<I had to protect my trainer.>

Ria said solemnly, nodding her head and closing her eyes to emphasize her point. The little Aron stared at the Magby like she was God's gift to Mysste. The two Pokemon had been sent off for berry picking, because Ally wanted to try cooking for once - namely, a pie. (Ally was actually a pretty good cook. She'd taken Home Ec classes in high school, simply because they never required any class speeches.) But so far, they hadn't gotten much done. They were too busy discussing Ria's fight for her life.

Ria started idly picking Oran berries from a bush, pretending to not notice that Emyr was basically worshiping her at this point. She placed them in the wooden bucket Ally had given her in such a way that they wouldn't need to find too many of them. She had better things to do with her time than pick berries. Like become a legend in the mind of a gullible Aron. Just for example.

Wow... So that's what a selfless Pokemon looks like... Wow!, Emyr thought. He sighed in adoration as the Magby quickly filled her bucket to the brim. Emyr's bucket lay beside her, completely forgotten. She was amazing. His heart was fluttering; it was an odd sensation. One he'd never experience before. His mother had once said that he'd feel for it another Lairon, or perhaps Aggron, "when the time was right." Well, Ria was certainly not a Lairon or Aggron. She wasn't even a steel type. But there was that feeling.

<I see y-you...>

That happy feeling was forgotten when he heard a haunting noise emanating from somewhere in the forest. He couldn't quite make it out, but it had sounded like a voice. N-no, you're just being silly, Emyr, he comforted himself. Ria's stronger than anything in this forest, Emyr seemed disinclined to admit that he was fairly strong himself; he much preferred idolizing the Magby. Regardless, the forest suddenly seemed a lot more foreboding. The Aron wanted to get out, but they still had an empty bucket to fill.

Emyr heard the noise again, and shivered. Ria hadn't heard either of them and interpreted the shiver as the Aron being cold. She let out a small Ember attack right over Emyr's head, hoping to warm the one teammate she could actually stand being around. Pele wasn't that bad, but Pele was also a water type. Ergh. And after that battle with the Munchlax, in which Pele had used a Hail attack, her opinion of the bivalve had been dropped significantly. Sure, ice wasn't all that effective against her, but it was the principle of the thing.

<Boo!>

Emyr jumped in the air when a ghost materialized right in front of him. He knocked over his empty basket and ran behind Ria, who rolled her eyes. The Aron was a good listener, but a crappy teammate. Then again, no one would ever make the perfect teammate - at least not to that Magby. (Maybe she was being a bit picky, but who cared?) Ria sighed and dropped her bucket of Oran berries. She flexed her tiny arms, took in a deep breath, and prepared for a very long, very hard fight. No difference in level would make up for battling your first gho--

What in the world is that ghost doing? Apparently her battle stance had been wasted. The Gastly held no interest in battling - or at least, she didn't appear to. Instead, she had popped over just above the basket of Oran berries. She grabbed one between her sharp teeth and then disintegrated. Based on the little blue berry that now appeared to be hovering midair, though, the Gastly had not disappeared.

<Cruel - I mean, cool - trick, yes?>

The Gastly asked this question before reappearing. (Apparently ghosts did not require solid vocal chords to communicate.) Ria shrugged. It was fairly cool seeing it, but, like a lot of things, lost its "shine" once its creator revealed that they had wanted it to be cool. Emyr nodded before the question was fully out of the ghost's mouth. Based on his quivering lip, though, it was less out of actual enthusiasm for the trick and more out of fear. Fear, and his desire to not be eaten alive, or something to that effect.

<I'll be blunt. I need a trainer. My old trainer abandoned me. This is a cool place, but woods are full of stupid Pokemon. Pokemon unappreciative of my creativity and so ignorant of fashion and--

<Fashion sense? Oh dear goodness. I don't know if I can handle another vain Pokemon. That stupid duo - Pachirisu and Ledian - are pretty much all I can handle.>

<If I fill these buckets, can I meet your trainer? That is what you have to do, yes?>

Ria blinked, causing the Gastly to chortle - which was quite an odd sound, coming from an entirely gaseous being. She did love it when people were completely unaware they were being followed. But finally, Ria shrugged. Gastly smiled widely, revealing that the gums that were hidden by its lips were coated in rows of sharp teeth. They were eerily similar to a Carvanha's, causing Emyr's eyes to widen even farther. Ria's eyes just sparkled when she saw them - finally, a tough teammate!

Within a few minutes, the Gastly had filled the buckets entirely. Thanks to having a virtually endless supply of space in her "mouth," it wasn't hard. They returned to the camp Ally had set up, one bucket in Ria's hand, the other in the wild Gastly's mouth. Ally was busy making s'mores; she had given up on the berry pie. The chocolate was melted and the graham crackers were kind of stale from having been sitting in her backpack for so long, but they were good, nonetheless. She looked at Ria in confusion who shrugged and nodded her head. (Ally had never had a silent conversation before, but she kind of liked it.)

She decided not to question the Gastly. Ria was her starter Pokemon, after all. If she couldn't trust her Magby, who could she trust? So she took the basket out of the Gastly's mouth and offered him a s'more, burnt marshmallow and all. He grinned again, though this time, the rows upon rows of extra teeth did not appear. Perhaps those had only been an illusion. Who knew?

Character name: Rayne Black
Legendary wanted: Lugia

Roleplay sample: (from a roleplay with friend. Yes, I have those.)

Darren couldn’t help but smile as the night began to draw to a close. He had performed his dance perfectly, much to the delight of his instructor, and Anna wasn’t clinging to him for once; instead, she’d disappeared into the crowd of girls who had begun to clamour around him, some chattering to him, to whom he replied with a shy smile and a nod, and the rest gossiping about Rayne and his sexuality. Darren thought it kinder to everyone that he left that in the dark. He ruffled his inky hair, which was slightly damp from the sweat that rolled down his pale face in glistening rivets and took his leave with a polite bow that received giggles and a few silent screams. “Um, I’m sorry… I need to, um, go find… someone.” To his surprise and dismay, he heard someone say, “Oh, he must be looking for Anna. I wonder where she is, she’s usually with him.” Trying his hardest to ignore the rosy blush that was creeping into his cheeks, he turned and pushed past some of the bystanders and through the double doors into the courtyard where he took a well-earned rest on a bench.

--

Anna was feeling lonely. She wasn’t with Darren; she’d left him to all those other inactive girls who didn’t have the initiative to take action to win his heart forever. She hated leaving him at their mercy, but in the end had decided she was much prettier than all of them and he wouldn’t even consider one of them when he could have her instead. A devious smile crept across her face as she spied her target; a tall, dark boy standing alone in the courtyard. With only five minutes until countdown, he was all hers. Everyone was in the hall, talking about the performance and partaking in the nibbles provided by the academy.

“Rayne!” she called out to him, running over. She was still in her tutu; a revealing white one piece with a split bodice that showed off her flat stomach and a stiff tutu with pink lace underneath. Her pink toe shoes tapped quietly against the paved stone terrain as she ran up to Rayne and wrapped her silky-soft hand around him and looking up at him sweetly, but strangely possessively. “Isn’t it a lovely night?” she said in practised awe, looking at the starry sky with her wide, emerald green eyes. “It’s perfect for the fireworks. It’ll be the most romantic New Year ever, don’t you think?” She sighed and dragged him down to a seat as the student council president roared, “Just one more minute until countdown!” She forced a blush and looked sheepishly at the ground, batting her eyelashes. On top of ballet, she also took drama classes. “Rayne, I…” she looked at him endearingly, willing her most adorable, irresistible faces. This had to work. Darren would be green with envy if it did, he’d most certainly lay claim to her there and then. “You know, Darren’s really nice, isn’t he?” Thirty seconds to go. It had to be timed perfectly. “But, I-I don’t think he really, you know… He just finds me annoying. I’m so lonely, Rayne,” she sniffed, edging her face nearer to his, tears lacing her eyelashes.

--

Darren stood slowly as the countdown began and began to walk. As he passed a rose-covered trellis, he saw a curious sight; Rayne and Anna together. Not only was she not with him, she was with someone else! Someone Darren had really hoped to spend the night with – Rayne. And they were so close as midnight drew nearer…
“Five!”
He couldn’t see her face but he could see Rayne’s surprised expression as she drew them closer together, her nose to his chest. His heart began to beat almost uncontrollably, so fast it almost hurt.
“Four!”
She looked up, the glitter hairspray in her immaculate chestnut hair shining under the solar powered lights that were situated in the rose beds. Her hand rose to grasp a length of Rayne’s jet-black hair. Darren could almost smell the dark, messy locks that fell in front of his face, almost feel them tickling his forehead.
“Three!”
He couldn’t watch what was going on before him, it was too much. He didn’t know what to think. Rayne was gay, wasn’t he? He’d admitted it. But he wasn’t doing anything at all. What was going on? A part of Darren had always believed that Rayne had maybe had an interest in him – maybe even hoped that it could be.
“Two!”
It felt so wrong, but so right at the same time. Was it even possible? Darren couldn’t think as a wrenching pain shot through his head from temple to temple. They were so close, just like that time when he and Rayne-
“One!”
Darren looked up.
Fireworks flew into the air.
The unlikely couple, Rayne and Anna, kissed.
And Darren silently fumed to himself as he stormed back inside and into his room.
Happy New Year?
Well, a new year at least.

~ ~

Rayne looked up as a feminine figure approached him. He was expecting Darren, but to his disappointment it was none other than the queen of megalomaniacs herself -Anna. The cloud of the scent of expensive perfume around Anna was almost suffocating, and Rayne could feel his throat sting.
“What do you want?” he muttered spitefully. He was not all that pleased to see Anna, and the sight of her made Rayne feel slightly irritated.

He flinched as her large, gazing eyes set onto his face. There was something strange about Anna, and it wasn’t an intriguing sort of strange, either. Rayne could almost see past her innocent, sparkling emerald eyes. He could see that she was scheming something, something that… Rayne was still not aware of. He would see her at school clinging onto Darren; he was her most prized possession, one that she was not going to let go of. Rayne presumed that with the time that Darren was spending with him and away from Anna was the main cause for her appearance that night.

“…It’ll be the most romantic New Year ever, don’t you think?” She sighed, and then pulled Rayne’s arm down to sit with her.

Romantic?

It had been a while since a girl had touched Rayne in the way Anna did. It had been an even longer time since he had looked at a girl closely. In fact, he could not recall the last time he had a girlfriend to look upon lovingly. This was not to say that he was looking at Anna in that way, but it felt more like the male hormones were acting up to make Rayne blush. How could any man resist the stunningly beautiful Anna? She was one of the most popular female idols in the school, the dream girl of nearly every senior boy in campus…

The next 30 seconds went by too fast for Rayne to comprehend. Anna had closed in on him before one could say, “one Mississippi…”
As the fireworks display fired up ahead, Rayne and Anna had kissed. He could not help but his lips curl into a pleasant smile. What was it like to kiss a girl, at last, after not having any intimate contact with them for the past four – or five – years? He drew his head back; his eyes were soft and his lips felt warm. He lifted his hand and stroked Anna’s hair as he pulled her in for another kiss. Then another. Rayne was too excited to stop, until…

What am I doing?

There was a sudden click, then a bright flash. A loud fit of giggles could be heard no less than five metres away from the new couple. Rayne rubbed his eyes, blinded from the flash.
“Who’s there?” He growled out to the point of the flash.
“Oh, no one special. Though I like to think you and I are quite well acquainted in some aspe-“
“GIVE ME THE CAMERAAA THERESSSSA IWANNASEETHEPHOTOOMG.”

Rayne sighed, “you two again?” He stood up, yanking Anna’s hair by accident in the process. He apologised briefly, released Anna’s hair then quickly paced over to the two ‘campus maniacs’ (dubbed by yours truly). Unfortunately, the two had somehow escaped. Rayne cursed; if word were to get out that he and Anna had kissed, there would be no end to the embarrassment. Even worse, he feared that Darren would feel uncomfortable knowing that Rayne had….

The thought was unbearable, but it was too late to turn back. Rayne had let lust get the better side of him, and the even better side of Anna.

[Time skip, woo]

“Oh, look, there they are!” A junior girl pointed at a nearby couple. A crowd of ecstatic students began to gather by a towering old oak tree, eager to speak to the newly crowned ‘royals’ of the campus.
“Hey, give my bro some space!” Elrica yelled at the wannabe paparazzi as they continuously snapped photos of the raven-haired boy and his so called ‘princess’, Anna. Rayne sighed at the mass of rabid students. There was not a single lunchtime after New Year’s night that he was able to eat peacefully at his favourite spot. Contrary to his feelings of anger and annoyance, Anna seemed to be enjoying the fame. She flashed a sweet smile at the cameras, whilst persuading Rayne to do the same.

“Come on, it’s not as bad as you think…” she whispered in his ear, her voice soft and sweet. Rayne swallowed the last of his sandwich, and then proceeded to stand up and walk away; Anna promptly followed after. She grabbed his hand, gripping it tightly. Rayne pushed through the crowd, his sister, Elrica, and her tall, well-muscled boyfriend helped clear the way.

Through the corner of his eye, Rayne spotted a pale, dark haired boy peering over the sea of heads. He stopped, craning his neck to justify his suspicions. Ever since the day he and Anna kissed, Darren seemed to have disappeared off the face of the Earth. There was no doubting that the entire student body had found out about the unlikely pair, and Anna’s friends were especially shocked (seeing as they presumed Darren and her were a couple).

Could it be you, Darren?

“Rayne,” Anna cooed, “play the piano for me?”
“Maybe later.”
The students in the mob soon lost interest in the couple, and began to walk away to their classes. As the crowd began to thin, Rayne watched closely for Darren.
Anna tapped her foot impatiently, “Raayne, why are we standing around?” She whined, and tugged his shirt. Rayne brushed her off with a nudge, his eyes never leaving the shrinking sea of people.

Where are you?

He searched still, until –finally – a familiar face caught his attention.
“Anna, you go ahead to the music room. I’ll be there in a minute.” He kissed her briefly on the cheek, as if to keep her satisfied (though it did not seem like it, Rayne found Anna to be the most demanding at the worst of times).
She wasn’t pleased with the decision, but left anyway to catch up with her friends. Rayne was relieved to see that he was finally free of her at last- Or at least, for a while.

“H-Hey!” He pushed aside a couple of students in his way, ignoring the angry cursing that followed. The pale-skinned boy lifted his head, revealing the large, sparkling blue eyes that Rayne had longed to look into for so long.

“Darren,” Rayne said, “I’ve been looking for you. Where have you been?” He firmly placed a hand on his skeletal figure; he was still as bony as ever.

Legendary wanted: Suicune
RP Sample:

((Flower Meadow Bless You))

★★★[image] [image] [image] ★★★
((Inside The Bitterness Is A Scared Little Boy))

"Agggh -Cho!" Came the sudden ripple through the meadow. Trust Sane to end up in a Meadow full of pollen, losing Connor on the way. He had somehow gone the wrong direction from some place. After he left Connor to walk slower. Why was he always in a rush? His Nose seemed angered by the Pollen. Turning a bright shiny red color. He hated it. Although, Yab, being part Bug type, enjoyed the area. Running around placing his tail into the ground. Was it to leave his scent... or destroy the area. Well to be honest Sane didn't care. All he could see was Huge trees and Flowers. He had wondered so far in, it was nearly impossible for him to get out. So instead. Why not play with his Skorupi for a while. His face quickly squinted up, falling backward. A couple seconds later, Slinging itself back. A loud Noise followed,

"Arrggggh, -Cho!" His hand wiped across his nose, as he looked at the little Scorpion Pokemon. Yab, making a smirking face, responded ;

<Bless you->
Although Sane couldn't understand the small Pokemon. He knew it was some smart remark. With a glare from his eyes, The Skorupi turned his head and carried on walking.

Sane Scratched against his arm, causing an ill looking Red blotch to form. He cursed slightly as he bit his lip. He had accidental rubbed some poison ivy against his arm. Maybe there was some kind of antidote he could find to stop the itching. Although, come to think of it. He would prefer it to itch like hell, but not visible. That way he would still look good.
<Hey!> Came a small voice, Stopping Him in his tracks. Not even realizing he was about to hit a tree. He jumped back in surprise as the opening of his eyes revealed a close up piece of bark. He quickly got back on trap. Looking at his Pokemon. "Thanks...." He sighed. Yab turned his back, speaking as he carried on walking ;

<This is why we are lost. You day dream too much!>

Yet again, Sane didn't fully understand his Pokemon. Yet by the tone and sharpness it spoke in ; He knew it was an insult of some sort. He brushed it off and began to walk side by side of his Pokemon. He gave a smile, while Yab rolled his eyes.

Was it really his fault they were Lost? Yes! Came a sharp voice from his head. It caused a sudden flash of excitement form on his face. Yab, of course, taking no notice. Why couldn't you wait for Connor? Now your stuck her! With a Pokemon that was having a Hissy fit. Man was he a bad trainer or what. with another sigh he looked at the Skorupi. Gently saying, "Sorry... Please Forgive my hastiness, I'm very eager to get places," He felt so bad.

<It's... Ok!> His Pokemon suddenly yelped, jumping upon Sane's Shoulder. Cuddling up to his ear.

"Ha-h- Harrghhhhh, -Cho!" Came the sudden roar of his face. He wiped his nose.

Dam Pollen...

Sane placed his hand on his shoulder. Patting his Poison type Pokemon on the head. His nose seemed to be getting better. Yet every so often he would sneeze.
Every time he did, Yab would Bless him. While giving a slight giggle into his ear. What was red from all the times he started day dreaming again.

"So... Why don't we train while we are here?" Sane gently asked. He didn't want to actually train. Yet, he was still too embarrassed to admit he was lost in the Meadow of flowers. With a smirk on the Poison Scorpion's face. He gave a nod, Jumping down from Sane's Shoulder. Her scanned for area for a Enemy to fight against. Was there anything worth it around here?

His hand scrapped across one of the tree trunks. Gently lowering his body against it. He rested down. While his Little Poison type ventured near by. Every so often Sane would do a Sound check to make sure he could still hear his Pokemon. Although a couple of times there were just random sneezes. After each one he gave a curse.

While no one was watched, he gently placed his hand down his pants, scratching his crotch for a second or two.

Ah, The outdoors, He Sang in his head.

Accepted by Josh. You made me laugh with the RP Sample. Good job =D

Character Name: Alice Rowe
Legendary wanted: Shaymin
RP Sample:

A spectacular shower of golden light appeared in the forest's clearing.

"Got it~!" A high-pitched voice cheered. "Way to go!" A girl with blonde hair and brown eyes cheered, at her Pokemon who were practicing a move for a Pokemon Contest. The girl's long blonde hair, which was in ponytails, moved around as she spun. She was wearing a jean miniskirt, and tank top, beige. Jumping, and spinning, then doing the moonwalk, her Pokemon followed suit.

{June, you're tiring us out!} June's Pikachu commented, with a stern look from June.

"Ha! You think I ever got a second chance at this? Keep going!" June's now hoarse voice said snappily. So she kept on going, pushing her Pokemon further and further, until they were almost ready to faint. "Okay, now, show me what you got!"

{One! Two and three! Four! Five and six! Seven! Eight an-} June's Pikachu fainted, before he even got to nine. A Mankey ran up to the fallen Pikachu, almost panicking.

{Do something!} The Mankey screamed, and when June refused, the Mankey pounced on her, grabbing her faint blonde pigtails. She screamed in terror, as the Mankey threw her on the ground. She finally agreed to run the Pikachu to the nearest shop and revive the Pikachu with items.

"Just stop!"

And never again did she do the same thing with any Pokemon...The Mankey was wild, and followed her everywhere. No Pokemon dared battle it. June did lose quite a bit of hair. The moral of this post? Never disrespect Pokemon, even though they aren't real. Fictional monkey things will tug on your hair or pinch you. Hard.

Until the day June was forced to give up her Pokemon because she robbed a bank using Pika-Power, she feared that Mankey.

Feared it.
