Josh: Okay, so I changed my mind. I'm going to stay. I'm going to be working a little more behind the scenes than actually modding and such, so yeah. I cant stay away from Senko in Senko's time of need.
Josh: Okay, so I'm taking a break from Senko. I dont know how long, I just am. It's way too much emotional stress right now, and it makes it worse when people wont do a simple request for me. I've taken myself down from the staff list, as I dont need PMs coming to me about modding for people or anything while I am away. I'm sorry, I just cant handle it right now. If you guys decide to try and keep it alive while I'm gone, that'd be great. If you let it die, I'll probably come back to attempt to revive again. Anyways, talk to you all again when I feel like coming back.

Josh: It's a new month, and now that we have a full staff once again, I think we should go out and advertise to get some new members! I will soon be putting up an advertising reward thread so you all have something to work for! I will also be modding the pokemon that needs to appear for everyone for their rewards, so look forward to that! :D

October 31st
Amy: Happy Halloween!~ Just wanted to remind everyone that the colouring contest finishes on Monday~ Prizes will be awarded by Thursday/Friday at the very latest, and I'll try and get something else set up soon after that. c:

"Amira. How does that sound?" Charlie asked the Silcoon. She didn't seem to have a name before, so Charlie had picked something that sounded pretty, something suited to a Beautifly.
She was sitting by a tree, not so much exhausted as she was bored. Her Silcoon was in her lap, silently staring back at her. She hadn't said a word yet, just kind of twitched a little. Did Silcoon even talk? Could they even move?
Charlie, still unsure, just stared back at her still, silent Silcoon.

"Amy? Kayla? Lauren? Meg? Lois?" Charlie went on, the Silcoon still completely motionless. "Hey, are you dead?" She frowned, poking her Silcoon in the the general forehead area. "Ehehehe!" She suddenly grinned, poking it again. "Pokémon. Poke-em-mon. Poke poke poke." Her grin got wider until the Silcoon jumped forward, using whatever teeth lied underneath its cocooned exterior to attempt to get her finger in a Bug Bite.

"Yah!" Charlie cried, pulling back her finger. "Okay, no more poking."
|"Amira is nice."| The Silcoon finally spoke, very softly with an almost melodic voice. She blinked twice, and then went silent again.
"...well then." Charlie stood, holding the Silcoon in her hands. "Amira it is."

She started to walk down the route again, still holding Amira, as if reluctant to put her back in the Pokéball. Maybe a wild Pokémon would see her and assume "it's a Silcoon, it can't do anything but harden". She wanted to defeat a Pokémon or catch something -- at least evolve Amira so that she didn't need to be carried around anymore.
|"You know what sucks?"| Amira asked, almost reading Charlie's mind. |"Not being able to move."|
"So hurry up and evolve," Charlie chuckled, and Amira simply sighed. |"Then I hope something comes along soon."|

"Miiiss!" came a shriek-like but cheerful cry from just behind Amira. "Misdreavus!" The pokemon behind the silcoon was quite small, although a little bigger than the bug-type, and very ghost-like. It was a misdreavus - but there was something different about it. Rather than the classic grey and fuchsia colouring that was signature to its species, this misdreavus was reminiscent of some sort of tropical coral, with a bright green and yellow 'body' (or whatever misdreavi have) and what looked to be a string of red pearls around its neck. However strange it looked, however, the pokemon was no stranger.

"Misdreavus," it cried in a high-pitched voice that bore no malice. It seemed to have little interest in striking fear that most misdreavus did but instead, as it wove figure eight patterns around Charlie and Amira, seemed much more interested in playing.

"...eh?" Charlie looked up, her eyes following the swirling Misdreavus. "But they aren't supposed to be that color, are they?"
|"She must be special,"| Amira murmured, |"If it's a female, anyway. I'm totally guessing."|
"Because that always works fantastically." She rolled her eyes, setting Amira on the ground. "Don't attack just yet, I want to see what it does." She mused, taking a few steps back. The ghost Pokémon seemed playful, if anything, and was not biting and yanking at Charlie's hair, so it must have been at least a little friendly. If the Misdreavus came back to her, rather than trying to attack Amira, she'd play with it and then suddenly try to snatch it in a Pokéball once it was done. And if it went to Amira, she'd catch it the old fashioned way.

The Misdreavus heard their conversation, but ignored it. The ghost type had heard many trainers say the exact same thing - appearing before new trainers was a hobby of hers. She enjoyed the multitude of reactions her color got. (One time, a trainer had thought his pokedex was wrong and had tried to sue the lab for handing out "defective merchandise." Now that had been funny.) But this trainer was kind of boring. 'Oh, look at her color, don't attack yet, blah blah blah.' She would have left if she didn't like the looks of the little Silcoon. Bug types had always fascinated her.

Most Pokemon went from slightly more than useless, to mildly useful, then useful, or from mildly useful to useful. Bugs went from useless to crap (Silcoon) to mildly useful. And yet, so many trainers were obsessed with them. So maybe it wasn't actually bugs that fascinated her - it was human's reaction to bugs. Maybe it was because bugs frequented the earlier routes of regions, and thus were usually the first capture a trainer made. That would make sense.

Throughout her thought process, the Misdreavus was cocking her head this way and that, staring at the Silcoon, occasionally making an odd face. For the time being, she was ignoring Charlie. The girl didn't interest her at all; only her Pokemon did. Just to see what would happen, the shiny Misdreavus disappeared. She flew behind one of the many trees along the route, then reappeared moments later, mere inches in front of Amira's large eyes.

When she reappeared, though, something was different. A small wrapper seemed to have gotten hooked under her necklace. She hadn't noticed it, though (or pretended to not notice it), and used an Astonish attack! It wasn't actually intended as an attack; she just wanted to see the Silcoon's reaction. Would it flinch? What did a cocoon look like when it flinched? Could they flinch? This little game seemed like a good way to find out the answers to her questions.
((... I had absolutely no idea what to do with her. xD;; So there you go.))

Amira, obviously surprised, let out a yell and seemed to tumble backwards. She landed on her back, and then rolled over again, back on her... feet? Whatever it was Silcoon had.
Unlike the Misdreavus, however, the Silcoon noticed the wrapper that was caught in its necklace. She used whatever magic instinct Silcoon have to jump forward and attempt to use Bug Bite on the Misdreavus, and clamp her 'teeth' on the wrapper as she did, not waiting for Charlie to give the command.
"Hey!" Charlie shouted, but Amira ignored her. Charlie frowned, folding her arms over her chest, but let Amira do her thing anyway.
