Josh: Okay, so I changed my mind. I'm going to stay. I'm going to be working a little more behind the scenes than actually modding and such, so yeah. I cant stay away from Senko in Senko's time of need.
Josh: Okay, so I'm taking a break from Senko. I dont know how long, I just am. It's way too much emotional stress right now, and it makes it worse when people wont do a simple request for me. I've taken myself down from the staff list, as I dont need PMs coming to me about modding for people or anything while I am away. I'm sorry, I just cant handle it right now. If you guys decide to try and keep it alive while I'm gone, that'd be great. If you let it die, I'll probably come back to attempt to revive again. Anyways, talk to you all again when I feel like coming back.

Josh: It's a new month, and now that we have a full staff once again, I think we should go out and advertise to get some new members! I will soon be putting up an advertising reward thread so you all have something to work for! I will also be modding the pokemon that needs to appear for everyone for their rewards, so look forward to that! :D

October 31st
Amy: Happy Halloween!~ Just wanted to remind everyone that the colouring contest finishes on Monday~ Prizes will be awarded by Thursday/Friday at the very latest, and I'll try and get something else set up soon after that. c:

Soon after she'd managed to catch the Psyduck earlier on, the rain had started up again- ever heavier this time- now that the pokemon's Cloud Nine ability was no longer in use. And, of course, she'd sent it to the PC system, and it was too much like hard work to get it back, just to fix the weather up. Her umbrella was providing enough cover for her short-arse frame, though she doubted Joel's Cyndaquil would be happy about the rain.

That was something she definitely hadn't expected to happen, at least not so quickly. Joel was the champion of Kanto's Pokemon League- and he'd asked Catori if she wanted to come with him in Senko. She'd said yes without really thinking about it, and now she was determined not to slow the more experienced trainer down at all. She had a few questions too- the first being about the pair of black and red wings sprouting from Joel's back.

Catori had always lived on that tiny speck of an island, and the only people she really knew were her relatives, and the families in the other two ranches on the island. Taught at home and only visiting the mainland for a few days each year, she'd heard about people with features of a Pokemon, but only in hushed whispers. She never thought she'd meet someone like that.

Shaking her head and trail of thought, Catori looked ahead at the route. It ran along the edge of a lake, but she couldn't see Mizuu Town anywhere, not even in the distance. "Looks like it'll be a long walk." she said, to no one in particular. Next to her, Rei frowned a little.

Joel followed the girl close behind, his cyndaquil trying to get into a position in the boy's sweatshirt in order to keep itself sheltered from the rain. Joel sighed lightly, wondering why the small pokemon wouldnt just get into his pokeball to avoid it. Joel, himself was actually wishing he could be in a pokeball right about now, considering he had a fire type's DNA in his, the rain was starting to make him a little on edge. The constant squirming of the pokemon in his zipped sweatshirt was bugging him, brow twitching a little. He had put up the hood of his sweatshirt, attempting to keep himself as warm as possible.

"Would you knock it off, Cyndaquil!?"

The boy had finally snapped, the fire type staying still at the sudden shout of the trainer's voice. Before he seemed like such a push over, and now... The boy was yelled at him? Joel let out a small sigh again, keeping up with Catori. He didn't really mean to yell, but with the rain falling and a squirming Cyndaquil in his sweatshirt, he couldn't take it. Cydaquil poked his head out from the sweatshirt, causing it to unzip half way.

"Look, I'm sorry for yelling..." The boy said to the pokemon.

<I was just trying to get comfy to stay warm in here...> the fire type replied. Though, how was he supposed to get comfortable in a sweatshirt that already had a boy in it? There was a slight silence before Joel realized what Catori had said just a few minutes ago. Cyndaquil looked up to the trainer, who was just laughing slightly.

"Uhm, Catori?" The boy started. He was on a short fuse with the rain, causing just about anything he said to come out rude almost. "Mizuu Town. Its name means town of water. It's under the water." He pointed to a rather small dot that wasn't too far from the two. "That's our destination. That is a tunnel that leads down into the town. I heard they are starting some 'Convention' kind of thing for Breeders to battle in, in order to see if they are raising their pokemon correctly." The boy forced out a smile, looking at Cyndaquil.

"How about Rei and Cyndaquil have a battle?"

<What?! IN THE RAIN?!>

"You need to get used to it if you are to battle in the water gym."

The Cyndaquil looked up to the trainer, dumbfound. A fire type verses a water type gym was not going to end well and the pokemon knew it. But he trusted the trainer anyways, just nodding. Joel took the Cyndaquil out of his sweatshirt and set him down on the ground. Cyndaquil sneezed a little as some water hit his nose before he finally got use to it. The rain was going to weaken the only attack that would affect the ghost type, but if Joel thought it would help, then he would train against Rei.

Catori blinked at Joel several times as what he had just told her sank in, and her cheeks flushed red quickly. "Um... I totally knew that... I was, uh... Just testing you! Yeah. Testing." She broke off, and muttered something under her breath, blowing upwards in a sign of fustration. Well, that had certainly gone well.

+Nice going, Tor. Really convincing.+ Rei smirked, floating infront of the girl's face.
Catori just stuck out her tongue at the Misdreavus, shrugging her shoulders. "We've already established I have no clue where I am most of the time." she retorted. "No need to go rubbing it in." Grinning, she twirled her umbrella a little and added brightly, "The breeder thing sounds like fun though... wanna try it?"
Rei nodded. +Sure. Beats just hanging around, right?+

Both Catori and Rei were caught off-guard by Joel's suggestion that the ghost-type and his Cyndaquil should battle, but Rei zoomed over pretty damn quickly, grinning at the fire type. +Think you can handle it?+ she asked. Rei knew that Cyndaquil wasn't really fond of the rain, but Joel was right- unless the young pokemon practiced, Mizuu Town's Leader would be tough to beat.

Rei turned to Catori, who nodded slowly. "If you want to, it's fine. Go for it." she smiled. She wasn't sure exactly how Rei was going to play this- either a full-on fight, or take it slow and let Cyndaquil learn a few things. Rei could be competitive at times, but she wasn't as bad as Blaze, Catori's Growlithe. Not even close, in fact. "Alright." Catori said, taking a small step forward, ready to go. Rei moved into position as well, waiting for Cyndaquil to take the first move.
