Mizuumi walked onto Route One and spun in a circle a few times, her arms out wide. Her hair wrapped around her, then pulled outward due to physics. A minute of this and Mizuumi fell to her bottom, and she giggled. No one was around, she could be herself. A rarity.
Mizuumi pulled out her only used pokéball and let Chikorita out. Chikorita looked around and bounced happily. Outside of the lab, something new for Chikorita. Mizuumi figured the professor liked breeding the Pokémon there. Chikorita ran around in circles for a moment, and then ran back to Mizuumi.
“You like it out, huh?” Mizuumi laughed, picking up Chikorita. She licked Mizuumi’s face, which Mizuumi took as a yes. “Let’s go explore Senko together, shall we?”

In the trees above, there could be a happy, almost chirping sound coming from them. There was rustling around as a Pokemon was trying to get closer to the trainer that was walking down below. The way the Pokemon itself sounded though, it was easy to tell that it wasn't a bird pokemon, so what could it have been?
Soon, the pokemon lowered itself by its tail to appear in front of Mizuumi, showing it's purple fur and yellow-ish belly to the trainer.

Mizuumi looked down at Chikorita, who was preparing to jump down. She just needed Mizuumi to loosen her grip. Mizuumi nodded and let Chikorita jump down onto the ground, at which point Chikorita's little tail wiggled in happiness. The wiggling made Chikorita's body sway from side to side.
"Chikorita, use Growl!" Mizuumi shouted. Mizuumi stood there and watched Chikorita growl. It seemed so quiet, it must of been her first time ever growling. Mizuumi smiled and continued her commands, "Now Tackle!" And with that being told, Chikorita lunged at Aipom.

The Aipom quickly pulled itself back up into the tree to avoid both of the attacks coming towards it, then moved between the trees as fast as it could. It ended up in a tree right over Mizuumi, before jumping down and landing on top of her head and covering her eyes with its tail. It then started going through the bag she was carrying, pulling out whatever it could and making a mess all over the ground with the items before it found a pokeball. It looked at the object curiously before tossing it away towards the Chikorita, making happy, Aipom sounds.

Mizuumi fell over after Aipom tossed the ball towards Chikorita. Chikorita, on the other hand, was getting annoyed at the Aipom, and didn't watch for a command. She lunged at Aipom, even though Aipom was on Mizuumi's head. When the pokéball came towards Chikorita, she used her leaf to make the ball casually bounce off of her, and then she used Tackle.

The Aipom looked behind it and jumped away from Mizuumi, using a Sand-attack in the direction of the Chikorita to make it so she couldn't see who she was attacking and laughing while it did so. It did a flip while in the air and grabbed onto another nearby branch with its tail. <This is fun! Though I didn't really want to fight!> it laughed at the trainer and pokemon.

Mizuumi jumped into the tree after Aipom, frustrated as ever. "Get back here!" She inched her way closer to the Aipom.
Chikorita stopped where she was, and shook her body, getting the sand out of her eyes. Mizuumi saw this out of the corner of her eye and ordered another command. "Chikorita, just Growl! Aipom is too high for you, but try weakening it!" Chikorita stood there for a moment, dizzy from all of the shaking, but ultimately growled once more.

The Aipom laughed as it swung branch to branch, it's attack being weakened by Chikorita's growl but it didn't care. It just kept having its fun with the trainer and her Pokemon. The Aipom got close to Mizuumi for a second, before jumping up and using it's tail to spring off her head to get up higher into the trees, continuing to laugh as it did so. This was one playful Aipom.

Mizuumi growled and jumped down from the tree. She looked at Chikorita, and thought to put her in the trees. She was smaller and lighter, after all. Mizuumi lifted Chikorita and informed Chikorita of the plan. Chikorita seemed eager. Mizuumi smiled as she pushed Chikorita up the tree.
Chikorita started after Aipom's tree. "Tackle the branches, if you can, Chikorita!" Mizuumi said. Chikorita managed to get on some higher branches and tried tackling.

One of the branches the Aipom was going to grab onto had been destroyed by the tackle, but it used it's tail to quickly grab onto a new one to slow its fall before hitting the ground. It started dancing around in a mocking manner, laughing all the while. Then it launched itself back up to the trees, using its tail as the spring and went at Chikorita with a scratch attack. The trees were its domain, meaning it could move a lot faster up there than the grass pokemon. The Aipom laughed louder, as the trainer didn't even realize the Aipom would have a lot more mobility than Chikorita up here.

Mizuumi shook her head. Can't capture a Pokémon who keeps running in circles. She walked back over to the tree where Chikorita was in, and watched Chikorita get hit with the Scratch, since Chikorita wasn't as manuverable as Aipom when it came to trees. Chikorita fell off of the tree, and into Mizuumi's arms. Chikorita didn't faint, simply lost her balance.
"Let's go, Chikorita. No point in chasing it," Mizuumi started walking away from the Aipom.

The Aipom watched as the trainer and Chikorita left, making a rather noticeable "D:" face. That's when it decided that it would stalk the trainer and pokemon! At least for a little while, before it would allow itself to be captured. Unless she somehow managed to beat it before that point, which would end in a capture anyway. It followed the girl, but made sure to not make a lot of noise.

New rustling from a nearby bush could be heard near Mizuumi. Investigate?

Mizuumi ignored the Aipom, Chikorita on the other hand, was watching from Mizuumi's shoulder. Chikorita looked shocked at the Aipom's reactions. What did it want, anyway? Just to annoy? Were Chikorita and Mizuumi just its toys?
Mizuumi heard rustling nearby, and looked at Chikorita. "Tackle the bush. Take all frustrations about the Aipom, and put it in that bush, okay?" Mizuumi looked down at Chikorita, who was nodding angrily. Chikorita faced the bush and used Tackle.

Chirkorita just tackled a baby kangaskhan! Wait, what's a baby Kangaskhan doing out here without its mother around? After being tackled, the pokemon let out a loud cry, and soon the ground around the area started shaking, as the mother started coming towards its young. The mother picked the baby up, put it in her pouch, and turned to glare at Mizuumi. Uh, oh, that's one pissed off mama! It went at Mizuumi with a Comet Punch, attempting to hit her twice!

Mizuumi darted in front of Chikorita to protect her, but quickly realized the Kangaskhan wasn't going after Chikorita. It was aiming that punch at Mizuumi! Mizuumi braced herself, knowing the punch could easily knock her out if it hit her just right. Mizuumi managed to miss the first punch, but the second one hit her in her side, knocking the wind out of her.
Gasping for air, she managed to get out in a breathless whisper, "Tackle." Chikorita, in shock, looked at Mizuumi and back at Kangaskhan, and nodded her little head, sending herself at the Kangaskhan with a Tackle.

The Kangaskhan got ready to move out of the way of the small pokemon's tackle, when suddenly there was a sand attack flying into the eyes of the giant pokemon, coming from seemingly nowhere! Chikorita's tackle ended up hitting, a direct hit! The Kangaskhan fell over, but quickly stood back up, getting more angry than it already was. Suddenly, a familiar flash of purple appeared, used scratch attack on the pokemon, then fled to the trees again as quickly as it could. The Kangaskhan, angry that it couldn't reach the sneak attacker, went after Chikorita with Comet Punch, trying for four hits this time!

Chikorita jumped back, dodging the Comet Punch without being told to, knowing her trainer was unable to. But now she was at a standstill. Does she continue fighting, or does she wait for Mizuumi to regain her composure?
Mizuumi fell to her knees, continuing her fight to regain her breath. Her black hair was gathering dust and leaves. Finally her breathing regulated, just at the time Chikorita was at a standstill. Mizuumi looked over hastily, "Another Tackle, go!" She shouted. Chikorita obliged as Mizuumi stood up.

At the same time while Chikorita was using tackle, another sand attack flew into the Kangaskhan's eyes, making it unable to move out of the way and got hit again! That Aipom must really like Mizuumi or something! The Kangaskhan mother roared out in anger, going after Chikorita again with Comet Punch, trying to hit it twice this time!

Mizuumi saw the Comet Punch coming, and as she opened her mouth to scream 'Dodge,' Chikorita wobbled past the first one, but tripped and managed to get herself punched. Mizuumi held her breath as Chikorita slowly picked herself back up. "Growl, and then Tackle. Go!" Mizuumi yelled.
